The Right Dog
Some people have a firm idea in their minds what would be the perfect dog for them. Some could imagine no other four legged friend than one of the breed that they shared their childhood with. Others have physical or character traits in mind - 'sporty' or 'good with children'. Have you considered what the right dog for you is or researched the breeds/mixes you are considering?

Picking from the Litter

Puppy Products

Most people woundn't dream of bringing a new baby home without considerable preparation. From pink or blue painted bedrooms to enough toys to fill a cruise ship, baby baths, shampoos, nappies, forumula or breast pump, toys, cute mobiles, pacifiers, room monitors - whew the list just goes on and on.

Well puppies are no different. Maybe they need different products but having the pups bed, food, puppy safe chews and toys, clicker kit (if you are planning on clicker training), light collar and lead, confinement solution, crate ...

Whether you do so before or after you've got your little guy home sooner or later you are going to realize that puppies have a whole range of specialist items designed to make their - and your - lives safer and more comfortable.

As an example, puppies are like little land sharks. They bite. A lot. They don't mean to hurt but mouthing is their way of playing and exploring their world. They played just as roughly with their littermates but the other pups'  fur protected them from needle-sharp baby teeth or a high-pitched yelp would put an end to the game.

For this reason and also because as the puppy's new teeth come through it is his natural inclination to find relief through chewing, your puppy needs chews and puppy-safe toys.

You also want to be considering safe confinement solutions, transport, puppy leashes, collars, beds, food and early training aids.
